I initially had a little bit of trouble accessing certain components of igoogle at work. Once at home I was able to have a little fun with it. It certainly has some good aspects and some time wasting aspects (although I do like the little hamster running around his wheel)
Google certainly looks like a great place to work; the youtube videos were quite interesting to watch. It would seem that they would be able to attract and keep valuable employees with extras like those. However I am guessing (like in any workplace) that there are good and bad aspets.
Have a great week.

#Task 5, 6 & 7
Hi, I have been having computer troubles and couldn't get on, but I am back.
Google Docs, Google Maps and Google Books are all great products. I have used Google Maps before, but it was still fun to play around with and try different things under the disguise of professional development!
Google books is a great product and will be beneficial with my area of work (teacher librarian). At times I have had trouble finding suppliers of certain books. Now I have somewhere to go when this happens.

Activity #2
Wow, how exciting my first blog! It is great to be trying new things and keeping up with technology. I am really excited about what I will learn over the next few weeks and can't wait to share it with the students at school.
I am not sure about the colour and layout of my page, but hopefully I can improve it as time goes by.
Have a great week everyone!
